Fix common paper printing problems
A few small settings solve most printing surprises.
The grid is too small or too big
Match A4 or Letter in your PDF and printer settings. Use 100% or Actual size. If your printer has a separate scaling option, check that too. Measure several cells together after printing.
Part of the page is cut off
Your printer may have a non-printable edge. Increase the page margins in the generator, then download a new PDF. Do not use Fit to page if exact spacing matters.
The lines are hard to see
Choose a darker line color or increase the line weight. Economy or draft printing can make light lines disappear. On monochrome printers, compare a light gray and a darker gray test sheet.
The PDF does not download
Check whether your browser blocked the download. Reload the tool and try again, or use one of the ready-made PDF links below the download button. On phones, look in the Files or Downloads app after saving.
The direct print view does not open
Your browser may block a new window. Allow the print window for this site, or download the PDF and print it from your preferred PDF viewer.
